Holly and Jamie Riordan
Holly Riordan fell in love with a horse named “Dream” in 1968 at summer at camp. Building on this, Holly later attended the Stoneleigh-Burnham school which offered an extensive high-school level equine program. The love for a horse has stayed with Holly since this early start. Whistle Pig has provided Holly with the opportunity to share this love with others, particularly young riders just starting on what can be a lifetime of enjoyment and learning. An avid gardener, Holly oversees the farm’s flower gardens, several of which provide local florists with unique plant material.
Jamie Riordan began riding when he met Holly and has shared her love of horses ever since. While Holly is the farm’s gardener, Jamie is the “farmer”, maintaining the pastures and facilities to support the farm’s mission.
